Brisbane is situated midway on the Australian east coast, between the Sunshine Coast (north) and the Gold Coast (south). Leaving the city to the south is the Pacific Highway, which within 50 minutes, delivers motorists to the world-class beaches and attractions of the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is famous for incredible theme parks, surf-friendly beaches and fantastic shopping.
To the North of the river city is the seaside town of Redcliffe, where sections of rainforest, lush countryside tempt many hours of sightseeing and discovery.
